Straight answers about how Scopalis works, what it costs and what it does with your briefs.
Scopalis is a pre-quote diagnostic tool for freelancers. You paste a client's project brief and it surfaces hidden work, missing information, scope risks and the questions worth asking before you agree a price.
Your brief is sent to a language model with a strict, conservative set of instructions. It separates what the client explicitly stated from what is only hedged or unstated, and never invents requirements. Anything the brief doesn't cover is reported as “Not specified in the brief.”
The risk score is a whole number from 1 to 10 reflecting how many unknowns, ambiguities and complexity signals the brief contains. It is a reading of the brief's clarity, not a prediction about the client or the project outcome. Each score comes with a short explanation and the factors behind it.
One completed analysis of one brief. Free usage is tracked on the server, so it applies per account and, for signed-out visitors, per device signal. Nothing is withheld from the free report — you get the full output.
No. You can run your first analysis without signing up. An account is required to purchase a plan, save analysis history and manage billing.
Pro is a monthly subscription with 30 brief analyses per month, saved analysis history on your dashboard, and every part of the report: risk score with reasoning, hidden work, missing information, scope risks and copy-ready client questions.
Lifetime includes the same features as Pro — 120 brief analyses in total and saved history — for a single one-time payment, with no renewal. You can also earn extra analyses by referring other freelancers.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
No. Lifetime is charged once. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
If you are signed in, each analysis is saved to your account so it appears in your dashboard history. Signed-out analyses are not saved to an account. Briefs are processed by our AI provider to produce the analysis — avoid pasting information you are not permitted to share.
Yes. Every saved analysis on your dashboard has a Delete action that removes it from your history.
No. Scopalis is a review aid, not advice or a guarantee. It can only work from what is written in the brief, and AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Pricing, scope and contract decisions remain entirely yours.
